Typing Downloads - Monitor Requirements

programs features the
Little Professor
who will analyze how your skills are progressing. The program will only run in an 800x 600 (or higher) graphics mode. Most modern monitors are shipped pre-set to this mode. If you have purchased a monitor within the last six years, don't worry about it.
Print this page, then follow the directions below to change your older monitor (typically in a 640x480 mode) to a higher resolution.

Click "Start", then click "Settings", and then click Control Panel"

Double click the "Display" icon.

Click the "Settings" tab (up top) and move the "Desktop Area" slide switch one stop to the right.

You have now changed your display to 800x600. Click "OK" and follow prompts to exit the "Control Panel."
Nimble Fingers
will now run on your machine. You might find that you prefer the higher resolution with your other software. If not, and you wish to return to 640x480 mode, follow the above and move the "Desktop Area" slide switch one stop to the left.
